Here at Bobby Buckner Computer Repair we fix everything from phones to tablets and computers. BBCR can even help with getting your home networks up and running smoothly. We have been in the repair business for 15 plus years and have repaired everything from smashed tablet and phone screens to water-damaged computers and laptops. We are based out of New Hope, MN, but can service just about anywhere in the US with our drop-off, on-site and mail-in services. We can handle just about any operating system from Linux to Windows and Mac OS. We don’t stop at all things mobile. We can also help repair broken video game consoles and much more. Bobby let me know that my computer was not worth fixing as a new one was going to be cheaper than the part that would be needed to fix it. He was able to recycle my computer and wanted to make sure that I got all of my information that I needed off of it. He didn't even charge me once I decided not to get the computer fixed, but instead he recycled it for me. This is exceptional service and I will be coming back here for all of my future technological needs.

I had been looking for over a year for a person to move a soldered cpu to a new Porsche board. To do the removal with the same quality as the installation just incase the new board was bad. It was done with the class and knowledge that exceeded my expectation!

My roommate's new laptop was having a bunch of difficult odd issues that didn't make any sense. Bobby was quick to answer any questions and fixed the issue very quickly. Bobby was beyond helpful he not only helped fix my computer which I had been screwed over by the manufacturer but he also had fair prices and was more than reasonable I would absolutely come here if you need any kind of pc repair work words can’t explain how helpful the was fast responses fast work and he explained every issue and what would need to happen before he made any decisions he would call me and let me know 100% recommend

10/10 completely satisfied with his work. My macbook display was completely cracked and broken and within a day of contact, he was able to take it in that day and fixed it by the next day! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs fixing!

Bobby diagnosed the problem with my laptop. There is a fee for diagnostics unless he does the repair work. Then the fee is waived. He fixed the problem quickly. I was able to pick up my laptop within a week.

Needed a battery replaced on my iPad. After looking at a YouTube demo decided it was out of my capability. Did a Google search and after reviewing the reviews, went with Bobby. Great decision. Even with a cracked screen, he was able to replace the battery with no further damage to the screen. Work completed on time and at a very reasonable price. Will use Bobby in the future for certain.

My HP laptop was DOA. It wouldn't power up, and no combination of key strokes I found prescribed online had any effect. I brought it to Bobby, and he had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. All this for a fraction of the cost of of the big retailers repair squad.

Bobby was a lifesaver! He was very responsive to my messages. I had dropped my laptop and damaged the casing in the area of the charging port. He looked at it for about 10 seconds and immediately told me there was another way to charge my computer and showed me another USB port on the other side. I appreciated his honesty and his willingness not to make an unnecessary repair. I'd definitely recommend him!

Bobby is THE BEST! He diagnosed the problems with my 2 printers in no time at all, and had them up and running. Imagine me, a professional writer, unable to print for months and months. I would have no hesitation in hiring Bobby for your computer service needs. Just purchased a new desktop from a major manufacturer which contained faulty set up instructions for peripherals. Bobby diagnosed & remedies the problems quickly. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent.

I don't know what happened that made several of our devices no longer connect to our home WiFi after a brief time away for travel, but Bobby fixed the problem with efficiency. My mini iPad stopped taking a charge; so, I took it to an Apple repair person at Best Buy. I've fixed my own computers since DOS. It takes me a while but eventually I get it. The problem I brought to Bobby was one I'd never seen and defied all attempts to fix it. I found Bobby on the Interwebs and gave him a shot. The problem he found I never would have figured out.

Bobby explained what was going on and what needed to be done so I understood it. He also fixed an issue with enabling TPM so I could upgrade to Win 11 when I finally make the decision to cross my fingers and take a chance on a new Microsoft OS (never a decision to take lightly!). From my past experience I immediately knew I'd found the right pro.

Bobby also gave me great advice on using multiple antivirus programs so now I don't feel scared about letting go of some, so the ones left can do a better job.

All of this is happened between 9AM and 4PM when my computer was ready. Wow!

It's said that a job can't be done fast, inexpensive and well: pick any two. Bobby is the exception to that rule. Now I have a person to send my friends too when they ask ME to help them with their PC.
